This is representative and typical of the rurality and the Mediterranean agricultural reality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The two elements that compose this recipe are extremely simple and of poor origins. Lagane is an essential pasta that is very simple to make, but marries itself well with chickpeas.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53bcc7e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"53bcc7e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Ingredients<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c069fe elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8c069fe\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Recipe serves 4 people.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>400 g of fresh lagane pasta (or can substitute another long flat pasta).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>300 g of dried chickpeas (softened overnight)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>approx.\u00a010 cherry tomatoes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>extra virgin olive oil from Cilento<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>1 clove of garlic<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>1 onion from Vatolla<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>celery<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>a few bay leaves<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>chili pepper to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a6f312f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a6f312f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Preparation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-980b536 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"980b536\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Boil soaked chickpeas for at least two hours with plenty of water, an onion, celery, bay leaves, and salt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drizzle olive oil in pan and fry the garlic. Once the garlic is golden in color, add the cherry tomatoes for a few minutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime add salt to a pot of water and bring to a boil. Cook the lagane pasta for 5-6 minutes (or the substitute pasta according to the directions).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Add the checkpeas to the pan with the tomatoes to blend flavors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Combine pasta, vegetables, a drizzle of olive oil and chili flakes (optional).
